1967-1979
This exhibition of Palestinian poster is the first attempt towards collection posters related to Palestine, which were published in the period between 1967and January ist 1979,the 14th Anniversary of the Palestinian revolution.
During these years and with the growth of the Palestinian Revolution Palestinian posters appeared on the walls in Arab countries and in many towns and capitals in the world spreading the slogans and the symbols of the Palestinian Revolution.
Our exhibition is dedictated to martyr Ezzeddine Kalak;P.L.O s representative in France,who was working on a book about Palestinian posters when he was assinated on 3rd Auguest.1978 in Paris.He used to search for posters, select them, gather the information, make notes, and insist on us not to forget to send him evry new posters….untile the day in which appeared on the walls the poster with his name and his picture and the inscription saying that we swear to the martyr to continue the sturggle until victory.
We don,t want to beleave in his death, for the Palestinian dossn,t travel and dossn;t die… and if he traveles he lives in Plestine; in our revolutionary dream which is the revolutionary action.We will try to continue what he has begun, and perhaps we are beginning something which might not have the chance to be accomplished.
